For visitors
Smart Outfitters, operated by Smartout Media Inc. (“we”), is a directory. Trips are booked and paid directly with the outfitter, who is responsible for the trip. We check listings carefully but can’t guarantee every detail, so confirm prices and dates with the outfitter.
For outfitters: listings
Public information about your business may be listed even if you haven’t claimed it. Requests to remove a listing may be declined. Legitimate reasons are honoured, such as a closed camp, a duplicate or wrong information. Our crawler may find and add a business again if it is still advertised online.
For outfitters: Pro plan
Claimed listings get Pro free for 12 months. You can cancel any time. Pro stays active until the end of the paid year.
For outfitters: Boost and refunds
Boosts are paid per week, in advance. If a refund is approved, it is the amount paid minus an administration fee of 3% + $0.30 per payment, which covers the card processing costs that are not returned to us. A refund is never more than what was paid. Changes to this fee are emailed to outfitters and take effect 30 days later.
