Review policy

Reviews help hunters and anglers choose. Here is how we keep them honest.

Who can write a review

Anyone signed in can review a camp they visited, one review per camp. Outfitters can’t review camps they own or manage.

How reviews are checked

Reviews that pass our automatic checks are published right away. Reviews that are flagged, for example ones with personal information or from brand-new accounts posting several one-star reviews, wait for a person to look at them first, usually within a day.

What outfitters can and can’t do

Outfitters can reply publicly, mark a reviewer as a Verified guest, and report a review they think breaks these rules. They can’t edit, hide or delete reviews, and paying for a plan or Boost never changes what’s published.

What we remove

Fake or paid reviews, reviews written by an outfitter or competitor, abuse or threats, reviews about the wrong camp, spam, and personal information such as phone numbers. When we hide a review we tell the reviewer why.
